IAME: A TITLE ALSO IN THE WSK MASTER SERIES
The final round of the WSK Master Series is raced at the International Circuit in Viterbo (ITA)
IAME conquers also this title in the KF2.
KF2
The Parilla engines dominate the category: Giovinazzi (Scuderia PCR/Parilla) wins the title and Cucco (Birel/Parilla) is right behind his shoulders, thus confirming the excellent performance of the KF engines, yet winners in the WSK Euro Series. In the battle for the title it seems like Cucco is the favourite in the heats, (winning two out of three) and ending 2nd overall just in front of Giovinazzi, whom although is not willing to give up. In the pre final the Scuderia PCR driver launches his decisive attack and wins the race in front of Cucco. In the final then, the two Italian drivers mark each other but is Giovinazzi to finish 2nd in front of Cucco and conquer the title.
60 Mini
20 Parilla drivers in for the two pre finals, demonstrating the great improvements of the IAME engines for the younger drivers. Among the protagonists of the week end comes Travisanutto: the Italian driver is 6th after the heats and also wins his pre final (B) with the best lap on track In the final he starts from the front row but a contact and a penalty lead him to loose the first positions (20th) The best, in terms of results is Ayhancan (Top Kart/Parilla): a great 5th in the final after being fast all week end long (3rd in his pre final, 8th overall after the heats). Raucci's (Energy/Parilla) perseverance has been awarded, he finishes in fact in the top ten after a good 7th in the pre final. In the heats Angelillo (Top Kart/Parilla) is also in the spotlight: he wins one and finishes 4th overall, but in the pre final a contact stops him avoiding him to qualify for the final.
KF3
A great recovery from Ilott (Zanardi/Parilla) during the week end: the Englishman driver, following several contacts, is last of the qualified drivers after the heats . In the two finals he then goes wild and recovers firstly to 20th place (in the pre final) and then till 13th in the final. Nilsson (Intrepid/Parilla) does also a good job, best lap in the pre final, but then he gets unluckily stocked in 14th place in the final due to some pack.
KZ2
Great performance for Negro (DR/Parilla), on Saturday he wins one of the heats and is 3rd overall on the grid before Final 1 (2nd of his category). In this race, following some contacts, he is forced to finish 5th. In the following heats, on Sunday, he confirms his excellent performance: he is 3rd in Final 2 (2nd of his category) achieving a deserved podium and confirming the growth of the engine along the season. In the overall standing the DR Racing driver is out of the podium only for 7 points.
